Shadowlands has been out for almost four months now, and we're nearing the point where players start looking towards the next content update. Robin has been slogging away as a Leatherworker in Shadowlands and the experience has been less than stellar since she finished all of the main content.

Argh, idk how I managed that ><
I can't believe i'm crafting in this xpac too, alchemy on hunter and tailor on warlock. Each sends each other required mats which cuts down on some costs but i'd still part with gold at times to get to the next recipe, have lots i never use, but i like to have collecting part of the crafting journey and not just buy my way to cap. I could, but one, it would take the fun out of it for me, and two, i have a hard time justifying the costs, yes i have the gold but that's why i have the gold.
The maw, the maw, the mah, so many players dislike this area? I love it. I guess it separates real mmorpg players from posers. /joking i tease my boys the exact same way and they are high end players i could not possibly think about keeping up with so, just ribbing Admittedly i'll only do mah and torghast on weekends when i have better blocks of time to throw at it, but i love every second i'm in there. Getting souls is in and out, so yeah don't save that for the weekend.
I concur that players are now in their groove, i attempted to do more group but, being honest i'm loving working the covenants quest lines so much more, so atm doing that, why fight it. Almost done my second covenant. As you mention, i know what i want to do adn do that, and don't do what i don't feel like doing, or isn't necessary.
The falling behind illusion in wow is a weird problem or curse, 9.1 is a ways out, and notice peeps in the guild wondering what to do cause they felt the need to not fall behind i guess, and well good job for keeping up and your reward is you now have nothing left to do? lol
Where the way i'm playing i've loads of stuff still to do with much still to discover as watching MDI on the weekend i've only done 2 dungeons. Overall i've run maybe half a dozen but of the same two, plaguefall would be three but peeps love to bail on that one so never finished it yet.
I'm excited to find out where they're taking this gem of an expansion, but in zero rush for 9.1 as i've still way too much to explore, and experience, and do as doing other covenants is far more fun than i expected? It's goal i set, but i didn't think it'd be so much fun and interesting, it's like familiar frame with an entirely different picture.
OK i thought it was three month mark, but yeah forgot the delay, so in my head i saw October 27th.
So yeah barely over 2 months. Thx!
Yep... pretty sure the extended pre-patch is what tripped me up. It feels like it's been out for much longer.
I usually don't even bother with crafting in WoW. It was easy to level up LW, but I can't see myself bothering to do both leather and mail for legendries. I'm only running my druid and not in a guild so I'm sticking with just leather. That is if I even decide to bother with legendries.
I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
Breaking news from 2004: there are MMORPGs that have an interesting crafting system, but WoW isn't one of them.
The more things change, the more they don't.
