Not connecting to servers

in Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted

I just got the game today... after the installation i made my account then went to ake my new char. after having to repeat the patch processes 5 times, it finally started to log intot the character creation screen, but then an error popped up and said tht the servers were down... when they wernt. I kept trying and then i finally got to my my lil dwarf, but as soon as i was connecting again to acually play, i got the same error. I havnt been able to play at all! Could anyone help me out?

    Does it give any error message? One of my guildies had a similar sounding problem, he kept failing to connect when he first got it, I suggested uninstalling and reinstalling and then repatching, it worked for him, but I don't remember what error msg he was getting or if it's the same problem you're having... But either way, wouldn't hurt to uninstall and reinstall and repatch, sometimes while patching there is a very brief loss of connection that causes the file to be corrupted. Can't hurt to try.

    Thanks, but that didnt work, im still having the same problem :(

    This is the error im getting "The client could not connect with any of the player servers. Shards could be restarting or offline" But on the status it says its healthy.

    Starting to make me rather frusterated

    I think the support site is support.istaria.com, can fill out a tech ticket there, if thats not it there's a link at the bottom of the page with the server info and character info and all on it.

    Make sure you don't have a firewall running that may be blocking it, I installed a new antivirus program the other day that had a builtin firewall I didn't know about and it kicked in at one point and booted me from the game, I disabled that and everything worked fine afterwards.

    Ok, thanks, i finally got the game to work. but im having numerous problems logging back in, iv only been able to play once. Is there any general things i can do to make the game more srtable on my behalf?

    Dunno man, stability wise I've never had a problem with the game. Maybe some of the other guys here have and can help better than I. The game has run great for me from day 1, I can ask some of my guidies, but don't recall any of them ever mentioning anything.

    Are you in the North American market or EU? What server did you pick to build your char? Have you tried another server?

    Im in North America. Iv tried logging into different servers, i keep getting that error call "transport error" I cant play!

    Thats teh same one my guildies was getting initially that reinstalling fixed...

    No help on support.istaria.com?
