in Star Wars Galaxies

ok, i dont get wut all the fuss is about, i just tried this game and it actually isnt that bad, besides the lack of ppl, the pvp is really fun. especially out in space. i know its not the best out there but its good. better then a good amount of other mmos.

    BTW, how can you comment on pvp, if you just tried the game?

    Did you try it in deep space?
    Did you do faction battles against level 90 characters?

    Or what exactly did you mean with that?

    heey man, name is an old tradition, been using the same name for quite some time now.

    and ye ive just started but its fun, so wut, i mean im not gonna py a monthly fee for it or anything and it probably is more fun at higher lvls. i was just stating my point of mind.

    yeah, I understand that, but there can be other players in the station as well.  I saw another player when I did the trial fix last week.  So if he had found someone else, then the only limiting factor as to no pvp would be some sort of level/skill requirement I presume.  I just don't see how awesome pvp would be at level 1, lol

    I didn't realize you could fly in space from the station, but if you can't PvP on the station, I'm still confused.

    I haven't tried the new trial.  I've played the game so I see no need to try the sucker trial.  Besides I'd sooner spend $15/mo. for manure than resub, and I have no need for or place to put manure.

    You do know that PvP stands for Player vs Player, right?

    I remember /duel not working on the station, but to be honest I only tried it while it was being introduced on TC and I never tried to duel in space.

You've just made an appeal to popular opinion to underscore the value of your own.  Moving aside the fact that this is a known fallacy that they teach you to avoid in the first day of debate school, I think it might be easier to simply point out that you can easily find a forum on the internet which the majority believes in a fundamentalist Bible-centric view of creation and think that evolution is bullshit. Just because they've found a community where they all think the same doesn't mean that they are correct or even have good reasons for that belief.

    My original post was to underscore the very simple fact that his statement was subjective (you'd be surprised how many people here think that their contempt for the NGE is some sort of mandate or truth) - because when someone disagrees with you on a subjective matter, then you can agree to disagree. But when you disagree with someone on an objective matter, then you'll spend all night arguing which one of you is the bigger idiot, and in the face of truth, you'll start arguing over what is truth and how important is it anyway. As long as we to continue you underline the "in my opinion" part, we can start having real conversations in this forum rather than constant bickering over who is and who isn't a troll.

    lol i believe i stumbled on reading that line ....... but, your always talking about opinions, and yeah if you have a forum full of bible-centric viewed people that have the same opinion or close to the same opinion, and you say. "oh but thats just one persons opinion and not everybodys" technically you are wrong. Alot of people think SOE will die, and some make themselves believe it will. Honestly i think it will take years before it is gone, its

    not doin too hot right now. Ive read most of your posts, mostly flames and complaints how people are only expressing opinions and ideas, But back to the bible-centric forum thing ...... they arent accepted, its like IF i was a satast and walked into a church one sunday and set up a little satanic alter while everyone else around me worshipped god. I wouldnt be accepted, and most likely thrown out of the church and ridiculed.
