is this game good. I have a few quesions
1) Does it have good graphics?
2) Does it have alot of lags and glitches?
3) Is it a good role playing game?
4) Do you have to pay to play?

1.) Yes. Look at the screen shots on this website to see for yourself.
2.) No glitches that I'm aware of. The amount of lag depends on the computer you have and the internet connection.
3.) Yes, but as with all online games, you will need to seek that community out.
4.) Yes. This game is still worthy of the subscription too.
I would advise you to read all the threads on the front page of this discussion forum. It will answer more of your questions, not to mention I posted some pictures.
1) The graphics are very easy on the eye. The character faces are indeed nice, not cartoonish (somewhat photo-realistic). The land scapes are very beautiful aswell. I can't see anyone with prior MMO experience having a problem here. Think Star Wars Galaxies type graphics... for the most part. Don't expect EverQuest II graphics though. Do keep in mind this game is classified as a first generation MMO by most gamers.
2) I have seen a few bugs, but nothing to get in a twist about. A tiny bit of server-side lag once or twice but not much at all really. This is an older game with updated graphics, have them maxed out and have not froze a single time. May depend on you're personal system, but server-side-wise it's fine so far.
3) As for RP, it is very immersive. The music is about perfect IMO, and the landscapes drawl you in and make you feel like you are in old-time Europe. As the vet said above, it's all about finding a good RP community and guild; that's most any online RPG. I will say that the newbie area I am starting in is full of idiots, I had to turn off the chat becaue it was very annoying. They were alll talking 100 miles an hour about every manner of BS and I felt like beating them, heh. In all the MMORPG's I have played, this was the worst example of OOC and kids spamming the chat with stupid/offensive opinions I have ever seen (but then, I never played WOW either, so...). It was BAD. But just turn off the chat and try to hurry up and level away from them. Also, I seen quite a few stupid names too. You can join the RP server if you wish. I did at first, but it was dead and empty (atleast at lower lvl's) so switched to a classic server.
4) LOL. Yes you have to pay a monthly fee to play; it is not like Guild Wars, et al. I don't personally mind paying for a quality game though. I bought the Epic Edition of the game (with all but the latest expansion included) for $20.00 bucks. The new expansion runs $10.00 bucks.
On a side note, I will say that this is perhaps the best MMO currently out, all around. WOW is just dumbed down and trendy, SWG is dead, and EQII is like a pretty chick with a bad personality. EVE is cool as are others, but if it's fantasy RP that you seek look no further. I am playing DAoC until Vanguard is released this winter... if you want the unltimate RP experience look into that game @ http://www.vanguardsoh.com/ (shameless plug)
