DAoC Problems

Hi everyone,

This is frustrating.  Last winter, I was playing DAoC and having alot of fun with it.  I quit for a while in spring, then started again for a week or two in early summer.  And now I have an urge to play again, but the problem is that I can't find my darn DAoc and SI CD's.  I've got my account, and it's still all working so far as I can tell.  Mythic re-emailed me my password yesterday at my request, it was the same as I thought it would be.  So, my question is, is there anything at all I can do?  Or will I have to go out to the store and buy the gold version to start again?

    if you have your CD keys mythic can resend you the CDs if you call them up.. If you dont , your screwed.. Plus theres a new xpac out ToA u need to buy it too imo or you wont be able to compete in RvR.

    Not really u can still compete easy. They will just have an advantage. Nothing HUGE but an advantage nevertheless.

    Zent if you think completely maxxed resists and things like casting speed not including ML abilities and artifact items isnt a HUGE advantage you are crazy.. 1on1 someone whose been through ToA will slaughter someone who hasnt.

    You can download the game using camelot.exe and european update.dat. After download is complete, change european game.dat to US one and you are done. Don't ask me where to get these files.

    Just send a complaint with assertiveness to Mythic Support and they will get back to you really soon.

    Really? my 50champ just took on a 50champ at master level 4 and i beat him easily. Also none of the master level grant resists that high. To get things like that you have to get items and even if u dont have TOA u can buy the items. Only items u wont be able to buy is artifacts because u ahve to be in the encounter to use them. SO like i said they will have an advantage but nothing HUGE.

    This isn't true at all.  The master abilities are more for larger groups and battles (I think the number given for example is 30-60 players) no individual battles.  You'll be just fine w/o ToA.
