    Tempting to play but im really focusing on starcraft 2 . . .  Last time i took a break from sc2, it derailed me for a couple of monthns in my sc 2 progression.

    Better to wait a bit so they can fix the disconnects. Rollback happens every time. Lost some good leveling stuff already.

    There's a serious backlash going on from the normal players of PoE to the company. GGG is giving access to all streamers while everyone is getting disconnected over and over again and 95% of the streamers are ok and they play completely fine, without any DC.

    That is until some of the streamers understood the situation and they demanded immediately GGG to remove theirs "streamer privileges", and ppl like Zizaran, Steelmage, Datmodz and some others are in normal ques like others. Kudos to those guys for being professional.

    Also pathofexile reddit and their official forum is on fire and ppl are quite disappointed with this "d*ck move" of GGG. image as you can see on the image, ppl were sitting in a que of 100k while this streamer is getting "personal" treatment

    I'm really surprised they have a priority queue for launches.  Especially when several non streamers compete for first 100 for their ascendancy.  That's just a bad look all around for GGG.  They'll have to address this with the community.

    They just did that, and ppl are disgusted by this behavior of the company. A lot of non-stream players competing and going for the race as well, but because of prior stream players they can't.
    GGG letting streamers skip queue is messed up. this one has almost 9k up votes.

    Log in. Wait 3 hours in queue. Play to level 20. Get disconnected. Get back in 20 minutes later. You're level 2. Good game.

    The backstory is that we have recently been doing some proper paid influencer marketing, and that involves arranging for big streamers to showcase Path of Exile to their audiences, for money (they have #ad in their titles). We had arranged to pay for two hours of streaming, and we ran right into a login queue that would take two hours to clear. This was about as close as you could get to literally setting a big pile of money on fire. So we made the hasty decision to allow those streamers to bypass the queue. Most streamers did not ask for this, and should not be held to blame for what happened. We also allowed some other streamers who weren't involved in the campaign to skip the queue too so that they weren't on the back foot. The decision to allow any streamers to bypass the queue was clearly a mistake. Instead of offering viewers something to watch while they waited, it offended all of our players who were eager to get into the game and weren't able to, while instead having to watch others enjoy that freedom. It's completely understandable that many players were unhappy about this. We tell people that Path of Exile league starts are a fair playing field for everyone, and we need to actually make sure that is the reality.We will not allow streamers to bypass the login queue in the future. We will instead make sure the queue works much better so that it's a fast process for everyone and is always a fair playing field. We will also plan future marketing campaigns with contingencies in mind to better handle this kind of situation in the future.
    This is from Chris Wilson about streamers priority. At least this guy admitted his mistake.

    Diablo III is MUCH better than PotE - better classes, better skills,better design - but PotE is still interesting to play.



    Let me guess, you also have phone and you find Diablo Immortal the best RPG currently on the market...

    I don't really care about streamers skipping queue because I don't race. And I understand it from the GGG's business point of view.

    If you let in 100 (or even 1000) players before me at 120k in queue, that doesn't matter much in terms of time. One queue line update is around 500 people let in, in normal league that has a working database page file or whatever the issue was.

    Like I said, I can only understand the hate from racers who want to see their name on screen when they visit a new zone first. Other than that, it's way overblown issue.
