Tabula Rasa was doomed when dude went too space,. if I remember correctly NcSoft fired him while he was in space?
This completley wrong..
NCSOft tryed to fraud RG out of 28 mill in stock options while he was in space they lost in court twice they even went as far as to have fake phone calls to set up .. Its well documented ..
Thatr one game with the dragon's (not dragon prophet)
Re Dragon game? Do you mean Horizons that became Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted ? The game was fantastic but lost me to lag and poor performance. Maybe I should try it again as it's still around.
I started with Asheron's Call, and have played most of the MMOs since. A few that are missing (being a proud father) are Toon Town, Wizards 101 and Pirates 101
I'm in the same shoes with Sovrath and Picard, so a nope for me as well.
Played pretty much everything I wanted, or at least have heard of - so I'm certain there are some small, obscure indie titles I've avoided in the last decades, but to be honest I dont feel I've missed out anything.
(however I also admit, the capslock-heavy list of starstorm on page1 has quite some titles I missed, like Holic or Mirth Minions... do I wish I played them? Nope )
Played more if could, now that's a more interesting question.
A cancel is always unfortunate, but when it's a game you like it's even worse.
Auto Assault I'd still play if it would be here, maybe that was the only game which was pulled from under me while I was actively playing.
Vanguard as honorary mention, not among my main games, but went back often for some Diplomacy and crafting.
Vanguard. It released the same year as TBC and LOTRO so never had the time to check it out. And there was so many complaints it didn't sound worth it at the time.
Warhammer Online : I played a bit, and really enjoyed my time, but I discovered it too late and moved on to many newer games.
Would also have liked to see what Age of Conan was like as a MMO, with a community. You can still play it now on Steam, but it is pretty much a single-player experience. Pretty decent game! It seems very underrated on Steam.

Everyone else's answer SHOULD be Vanguard and Asta.
I played Vanguard up to the end. I even specifically subscribed to it as opposed to getting their all-game pass as I wanted to essentially "vote with my wallet."
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Tabula Rasa was the one that I planned on playing, but it got shut down before I tried it.
I prefer the original vision of Tabula Rasa. Now THAT is something that I wish we could play.
Heck, I can't even find the original trailer anymore.
I agree, it was supposed to be somewhat of a fantasy MMO rather than science fiction. I tried looking as well, the only thing I could find is confirmation of the original design: https://lorehound.com/news/before-the-now-tabula-rasa/
I kind of want to say WildStar. I've learned communities matter for my long term enjoyment of an MMO and the guild I joined when WildStar began fizzled out and I never went to another one. If I did, I might have played more and enjoyed it. I went back when it was announced they were shutting down and it was pretty empty. That tells me that even if I did find another group, that would have fizzled out too.
I do wish there was an option to make WildStar a single player non-MMO game.
Lots of little crappy ones that are long gone just because they did one thing right. But only one thing and nothing else and eventually faded into obscurity or got shut down completely.
That's really a tough question. Would there be any games that I would play now that I missed then? No. But If I could go back in time and experience those games when they were released? there would probably be a few. SWG is one of them...I think it was a genre defining moment as well as a Genre defining game. I would have loved to experience Everquest in it's heyday. But they don't pull my interest at all at this point, gaming tech has just advanced too far for me to enjoy those earlier releases in my current state.
Now, if you were talking about games that I played in their heyday that I would love to revisit in their original form, then yeah, definitely. Star Wars the Old Republic, LotRo, a few others, I'd love classical versions of those.

My first choice would be DAoC. It is regularly used as the epitome of massive pvp and I wish I had experienced it first hand.
The only other game that comes to mind is Asheron's Call. But I don't know enough about it to really say I regret it.

Horizon's
And it Features:
Landing on Planets
Space Legs
3D Cockpit.
This game really set the bar high for a year 2002.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
