Phantasy Star Online 2 players won't have long to wait for the massive New Genesis update coming to the MMO. The update will launch in June with a global launch.

    This is somewhat confusing. So it's a new game, running along side the old game, but you can hop between the two on the same characters? Or is it just the same account on both but different characters.

    Same account, same-ish characters. Not everything will translate 1 to 1. Some things have changed but for the most part the characters are the same.

    So your max level character can be played on old and new?

    You can essentially think of it as having your character's name, cosmetics, and customization carry over. Your level and such won't carry over, and your gear will function differently, as they are different games.

    No.  Both versions are free to play.

    from what I saw its the same char, but diferent progression, some weapons and armor will carry over, all fashion will carry to the new genesis, but nothing from new genesis will go for the old game.

    pretty much if you don't like the new game you can keep playing the old
    FOR HONOR, FOR FREEDOM.... and for some money.
