Blizzard's upcoming Burning Crusade expansion for WoW Classic will be here on June 1st, though that hasn't stopped the company from taking in feedback about the packages and costs surrounding the upcoming launch. One such area has been the cost of cloning your character on both Classic and Burning Crusade servers. Blizzard today announced they would be lowering the cost of the cloning service, thanking players for their feedback and passion.

I look at this way,i can and have bought games i enjoy for 20-30 bucks and they are selling a cloned player for 15 ..lol.If they get even 100k players doing this that is a LOT of money,1.5 mil to be exact.
Hmm i know, maybe with all that added revenue they can bring back some of those employees they laid off,you know because Blizzard must be hurting for cash and all being a struggling business you know.
Then again compared to Kotcik's money that is like laundry money or a bingo card lol.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I wish they didn't have boosts, but finding out it won't work for Blood Elves or Draenei makes it less problematic for me personally. A higher price for boosts also helps minimize how many people will be walking around Outland with fresh 58's.
I've gone against better judgement and decided to get started on a new server and resubbed for TBC. I think end game, even pre raid, is far better in TBC than Vanilla. And so I'd rather not miss out on the first month or two of TBC experience. WOTLK is the one I'm most excited for and can't imagine continuing past that if they decide to go with Cata.
If they go with Cata they have to totally change thr game because origjnsk cats ruined it for so many.

I've never played ranked arenas because the whole idea of arenas in an MMO never appealed to me - I'm more of a large scale RvR PvPer something that WoW has never been good at.
I may have it wrong but I think that's the main beef.

The people on the forums are a lot better at words and communicating (and smarter) than I am, so I suggest reading their posts as I am not doing it justice when it comes to the big picture. My two main reasons are 1) I don't want to wait in queue forever to fight the same small handful of groups over and over. 2) Slippery slope - Since Blizzard started opening the door to making changes in Classic and BC they become more heavy handed in it. You can reason out anything. Why not get rid of the talent trees against because of reasons? Welfare epics and starting at 1500 was a huge, long part of BC. How can you remake BC without it?
This got even worse when they started to make them playable for couch potatoes, there is now no possible way to make top tier hard af content on a console.
So i rally behind Blizz, they have stayed true to PC (only platform you can make hard af content on) and they still make it hard af content compared to the overly care bear mmorpgs we have today. Barely a cash shop, if you can even call it that compared to the appalling cash grab cash shops which litter all mmorpg's today.
In addition they stayed loyal to the #nochanges in Classic, just pay your sub enjoy a world free of greed, which was a pleasure to play btw and as far as BCC and Classic Wrath i already knew i wasn't going to bother, just no interest, but then this...
Buy a collector edition? a boost wtf? A plethora of #pleasemakeiteveneasierhave$$donotworrywewillpay changes and to top it off with NOT EVEN ONE free clone, and 35 bones, well i guess even the i want it now crowd has limits lmao, nice to know they have some backbone.
TO Now only $15? if there was at least one free one i would understand and feel 15 is reasonably priced. I mean it goes to show what blizz thinks of this crowd, their cash cow crowd ofc, but it's these people that cultivated this behavior from the company, can you really blame them?
In that check the difference from #nochanges real og mmorpg players and guess what no changes, not a whisper of extra's you can pay for like boosts, collector editions, where to BCC the money siphon is in full swing.
And that is the divide, when the audience is one way they don't make any changes at all, when it's the other way they go overboard with the money siphon, but again, can't blame them if people are screaming take my money... right?
They def. Aren't staying true to the no changes in TBC. You're entire post is just so incorrect I'm convinced you have utterly no idea what you're talking about. Did you even play classic or did you just try it out?
You mean barely registers compared to the changes going on in BCC, boots ffs and nice troll attempt lmao
I take it you're a "i want it now" player, that's ok enjoy spending, it's what you do best.
They're charging people $15 for something that's completely automated and at best costs pennies to do.
Over charges for its product, but offers perpetual/rolling discounts to make it SEEM like you're getting a deal.
Blizzard did just that. Over priced the service then reduced it to still above what most thought it would be; $10.
