Glad I have them all on PS1. I suspect this new PC release will be a mobile port.

Would like to see some company created to soley focus on making pixel versions of all the most popular MMORPG's. ESO, WoW, SWTOR, LOTRO etc all recreated with pixel gfx. Could even make pixel versions of some of the older MMO's like EQ1 while they're at it.

Many big companies like Blizz outsource already so why not outsource to have a company create a pixel version of their MMO's to co-exist with the regular version.

Will probably be buying all of these FF versions too btw

I don'r like this reskinning and remaking,i already been there done that.I want new creative games, open ended games not linear connect the dot games.

These old designs are very dated and imo just not fun anymore.Nostalgia is nice to read about or look at for 5 minutes but not something i want to pay money to buy....again.

I was a big final fantasy fan but the new games just fall short in the story imo.

Don't really blame them for remakes/reskins but it just shows how degraded the new games have gotten since enix bought squaresoft. They have great graphics, sound and controls. The stories after ff10 have just gone down hill slowly with each game.

I'm not even hype for the new game I can't even remember its name (think its ff16? lol).

not terribly clear the point of a remaster that just "simply remastering the pixel 2D art" (aside from nostalgia sales). FF 3-6 are already on Steam and believe they are all on Mobile already.

I'd have to see the difference in order to make a decent value assessment for myself, but I can't say I ever played those games for their graphics...

That could be neat, though I doubt there would be interest in that by the companies themselves. They would likely not see the revenue potential worth the bother.

I wished for this a long time, but I don't feel like they are gonna do it right. If Square Enix cared about their legacy, they would invest heavily in these remakes and do it right, regardless of their profit potential. This is an opportunity for them to showcase their legacy in a way that they can be proud of for decades to come. Hopefully it will be, but I can't say their previous re-releases inspire a lot of confidence.
