There have been articles describing BnS actually not getting an engine update and that they spun their mobile release platform alongside a PC update to get people to play the PC version again. In reality, there is no engine update to PC and it is just a marketing ploy to drive numbers up.. In fact, the video showcasing the "UE4 update" was just the mobile game.
I wouldnt be surprised if it is true... but now im seeing mmorpg write articles on it saying it is actually coming.
Don't know what to believe anymore
Which articles say it's a ploy?

Its been said that it is an entirely different server which was a mobile port into PC titled "Blade and Soul Complete"... not an engine update to the current BnS. However, recent news is pointing towards an update instead.

At the time a lot of sites were reporting that it was either being shut down, or it wasn't, and yeah it's confusing. Some sites only reported the shut down part and probably never picked up that it wasn't shutting down.
Just filter out the noise and get your updates from the source.
