Back in May the Virtual Reality (VR) MMO Zenith: The Last City (Z:TLC) stated that they will be delaying their Alpha until July 10th. Recently, a new Alpha-Beta Timeline dropped pushing that second Alpha out a couple weeks until July 24th. The Alpha, if the schedule holds, will run until August 1st.

They're welcome to take their time with this one. It's the only truly promising VR MMO I've seen so far.

Looking forward enough for Zenith that I'm more than willing to wait patiently for them to get it right.

Ilysia is another VR MMO in development that looks pretty good.

I'm also looking forward to this game. I'm currently trying to get into Township Tale but I'm finding it a bit hard.

Instead of making unrealistic projections, or rushing and breaking software to meet deadlines, why don't they just say "It'll be done when it's done." That's what I'd say, anyway lol

The problem could be their funding stream. Investors don't want to hear that you have no idea when the product will launch, and when they will get a return on their investment.

What investors want to see is a good track record of projections. That indicates good management. Poor projections and missing the targets and deadlines is a bad omen to investors.

It took me about a month of using my Quest 2 every day for me to get my "VR Legs." At first I got very dizzy very easily, but now I can run, gun, jump, fly without much issue anymore. It just takes time.

Ditto. Took me two weeks before I didn't get tired, headache-ish eyes. Now I can play for hours.

It's worth it if you enjoy gaming.

The problem with this is that early on in the development of an ambitious game, you genuinely have no idea when it will launch.  That remains true even if you don't tell your backers.
