Well at least it's not Wrobel doing the balancing any more. Balance patches haven't been quite as drastic or goofy since he left

Was he the bastard that clipped my beautiful DK wings?
I'm not respec'ing my pve only toons yet again for the minority of whiners, oh sorry, pvpers. I've sat out the last few "resets" and their respective chapters and I'll continue to sit out the rest.
LOL, too little too late comes to mind. The game has been centered around a casual pve/rp copy&paste development cycle every year with a heavy focus on their cash shop. As a longtime ESO pvper, I can tell you 95% of the community is gone, given up on ZOS forever, and is not coming back.

95% of the PvP community leaving would be like 2% of the games total playerbase (and I'm being overly generous). I'm sure ZOS will be fine. But hey, thanks for providing another reason ZOS ARE idiots for continuing to cater to PvPers and fucking over the majority of their players in the process.

The game is packed though. I love statements like this that just spew percentage numbers without providing a single lick of evidence. ESO feels more alive than ever and I've been playing off and on since beta.

I'm glad that type of player has left if that is the case. I still dabble in PVP though and PVP activities still feel pretty active.
Seems pve carebears have came in and dominated this comment section. Any change to benefit pvp is always a step in the right direction. It is after all (and always will be) the most dynamic and difficult of content.
If they really wanna win back PvP players, ESO just needs to fix the lag in Cyrodiil and stabilize the servers so you dont get kicked every time you have 40v40 or greater. Microsoft needs to get a move on before New World takes away their PvP player base. NW new Outpost rush is looking really fun.

You cant compete where you don't compare. Ai is not equal to the human brain.

Judging by most PvPers in chat and forums, you're correct. AI is not equal to their brains, it's superior.
this dude really saying "PVE care bears" in 2021. That shit is like from 2001 or something.
PVP has always been the toxic vocal minority, hence the criticism in this thread.
If you want real PVP you play a real PVP game, not an MMO.

this coming from someone who thinks AI is as dynamic as a human. Delusional.

and yet PvErs have always been the toxic vocal majority. The hypocrisy.
Yall getting upset over the truth is just further proving my point. No matter how bitter you are about it.
As someone who has played both PvE and PvP in ESO a ton, my experience playing is that the most toxic crowd, by far, are the high end dungeon and trial PvErs constantly whining and pointing fingers whenever the tiniest little thing goes wrong that prevents them from doing the content in world record setting time.
PvPers, especially the Cyrodiil crowd, in my experience are much more chill, welcoming and forgiving of noobs making mistakes... YMMV.
I'm currently on a year-long break from ESO because frankly, I just got burnt out and all the things that used to be minor annoyances became big ones. I detest their cash shop with their ever increasing list of "conveniences" (whole skill lines for sale, riding lessons to offset their ridiculously lengthy - as in 6 bloody months - natural riding progression, etc.,) loot crates, their log in rewards that come with a full screen ad of their cash shop promotions every day, and so on. I could shrug off that shit before but it eventually got to me.
Add their also ever increasing use of cosmetics as the top rewards for seasonal events (mount skins, outfits and motif pages) and the game just makes me feel like I need to be a fashionista to get full value. I know I don't need to be and I'm not but it just makes me feel like they're catering to someone else - someone who cut their multiplayer teeth on the Sims Online.
But like I said, I admit I'm just burnt out on it and if their focus and shit cash shop don't bother you enough to put it down, more power to you - you are me a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately we are only talking about balance changes to their crappy combat system.
They keep changing things so often you have to relearn the game every season.
Learning is a lifelong process.
