Sounds like gameplay tweaking not new content.

It's still in alpha. Alpha means it can totally change at any moment.

There is no persistence, and nothing you do now will carry over to the real game. If there ever is a real game.

I kinda wish Roberts would do a fantasy MMORPG after hes done with this. I miss this kind of attention to detail in those games.

And yes I know...game has been in development for a long time, cost a lot of money, selling expensive ships, etc......this horse has been beaten to death.

If you ignore all that and look at what there already is in the game without the negative bias, you may actually like what you see, I think...or not, but maybe...

I spent some time recently watching SC gameplay and review videos and I am warming up to an idea of getting myself the game together with some ship a little bit more down the road...in couple of years proly.

well its a fantasy of a game so he is doing a fantasy game

This a favorite update of mine, adding a location I looked for its realization since its concept art, the gas giant with dem city in the clouds.

It's such beautifully made place that's just gg to explore around

Let's ignore Crusader, power management, radar and ping implementation, missile guidance,Missile operator mode, Law system v2 surrender, ships HUD rework, RSI Taurus, planet volumetric clouds.
This is more than tweaks... but development adding more contents and quality of life and fight.
More pure gameplay (three) are coming with 3.15 and 3.16

    It is gameplay tweaking.

Or at least RSI called it "balancing". MMORPG.com writer was the one who decided to call it "additional content".

For the love of the gods of space MMOS don't suggest anything else for him to do, lets make sure he finishes this first! :)

@MaxBacon, those are nice screen shots; but you know what they say "graphics don't make the game." A friend of mine tried playing Star Citizen and could not finish a simple mission to drop off a package because of the many bugs. He got into it with the devs on Discord and the devs made excuses and resorted to name calling, saying the physics is not even implemented yet. So yea, it will always be "ScamCitizen" until they get their shit together.
Well to start with, as the game doesn't have a worked on new player experience it's always recommended to check in either guides or play with people who already know what they're doing, because if so you can avoid stuff like that, either say the most likely to bug mission (that's the one) or avoid doing something that will make it fail.

I'm not sure where your friend went and who they interacted with, but saying the devs did not help and resorted to name calling... that's just not a thing. There is a built-in guide system where you can get someone to chat with and sort you out, given the state of the game it can save a world of pain knowing how to work around problems, (eg https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/guide )

Roberts would be dead of old age before he could start it...

    correctomundo.

Seeing many of the screenshots this game SHOULD run on a hamster wheel as there is VERY little to draw and almost no animation or Ai to load, just a well....screenshot saver game.

Star Citizen is going to need ALOT of new content, and ALOT of gameplay tweaking.   So, if either gets delivered, it is a plus.

It's just a question of how many years til actual game persistence....

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
