If XP gain is one of the reasons to run these expeditions, they definitely need to up the experience you get in them cause right now the difficulty does not compare to the xp reward. Xp is horrible in them so far. Very fun dungeons though!

its spelled journalists, and I think it still should have been asked in this interview regardless of any other statements.

They already made the statement there should be NOTHING to worry about playing the game and i believe they are correct.
I do NOT enjoy or feel dungeons is good design or effort,it is imo LAZY work and a copout to creating MORE choice.

If people feel their cards are running too hot then maybe th ecomplaint should be on optimization but hey they got you covered, just stick small groups into instances ...sigh.

The entire WORLD should be wide open like a real world and if your going to stick tosn fo players onto a single shard you better offer enough non instanced content so everyone isn't in the exact same place. You also NEED to make sure the game runs smoothly with lots of players in place,i mean it is suppose to be a MMO not a single player or co op game.

The issue tha tstarted years ago is that devs all wanted to cash in on the popular MMO craze but didn't want to put in the work to make it viable.

Obviously the original plan for this gamee was VERY limited, very shallow and they heard the complaints.Have they done enough, well imo obviously not because i have heard steady complaints about too many players in the same place.

Gating story progression behind a group dungeon paywall. Same thing that makes me leave FFXIV every time I give it a new chance.

Unless you got your tenses mixed up, maybe they answered because those questions were asked here?

Sorry, the dungeons are not dlc are they? Lost me here, in fact post writers on NW topics could be more precise generally, we are not yet all playing it.

I’ve been playing since the start of the closed beta and I have to say that this game falls drastically short of any expectations. It’s basically a 3D Albion Online. The “action” combat is the most stale and lackluster combat I’ve ever experienced in an MMO. Even ESO does it better and that’s saying a lot! They removed some combat features from alpha in order to lower the learning curve of combat and it basically killed anything special or noteworthy about the combat system. There are other major glaring issues besides the combat as well, like the questing and how the game is clearly not designed for questing. They initially made the game a hardcore pvp game and then tried to change direction when they realized that would’ve been a bad idea, but you can absolutely tell the map was designed without questing in mind. I’m really disappointed as I had higher hopes for this game, but as it currently stands… I’m betting this game won’t be a major success and the population will sharply drop off after the first month or two. It’s a bummer.

The combat does seem very lackluster.....Not impressed with this at all.

I never played a game before that made me want to go back to ESO for the combat but NW is that game...

The lack of appearance variety also makes me appreciate the extra options for that stuff ESO provides... I'm sure the cash shop will fix the lack of cosmetic options later though.

Watching low sub 'streamers' all trying to speak well of the game so they can seize that NW following when you can see on their faces + actions that they're completely bored says it all... One streamer I was watching was falling asleep and another actually said specifically "the game sucks" but then immediately followed up with "I'm just messing, the game has potential".. Probably realized it's not a good idea to say something negative about the game he's playing created by the same company that also owns the platform(Twitch) he uses to pay his bills.

Combat has been okay for me, but I find it more fascinating in just harvesting. I haven't had so much fun in crafting and harvesting. I like the work you do to help upgrade a town by doing the job board.

My combat experience has been more of the life/gauntlet setup. Gauntlet is fun for me, i like it's debuffs and how some of the spells look.

Say I prefer it more then ESO and will do for a substitute for new game.

In other words, don't do the dungeon, don't get to continue the story.  Thus the dungeon is a "paywall" or a gate or a full stop or whatever else you want to call it.

Ok I get the "wall" I don't get the "pay".
Time is money. Wasted time is wasted money. "Pay" means more than currency.
