Does nobody play for FUN and why didn't they design it around FUN instead of rewards?
I should be asking what happened to gamers?
When i sit and think "ok what game am i going to play"i am looking for something i think i will find fun for that moment or day.
I might decide to spark up some Serious Sam to just have some fun shooting stuff up and listening to his one liners.I couldn't care less about glowing lights coming off loot or what my ranking is or what my rewards are, just fun is all that matters.
When i decide to play some FFXI on private servers i have already done the same routine a thousand times but i like the combat style and the world the npc's.
Even when i play Hearthstone i am not there to grind rankings or rewards,i have just laways enjoyed card games and try to have some fun.If i am not feeling it i might only play 2-3 games and often i might go 3 weeks without even playing. It MUST be fun to me or i am not interested.
So long as devs just DON'T get it their games will never be any good.Sure studios can make loads of money off all the SHALLOW minded gamers who care only for grinding ranks and ratings and rewards but personally IDC about them or those games.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
Probably won't be long nor will it be worth the wait.
The engine they are using is and always has been terrible, framerates are atrocious and gameplay slows to a crawl in large battles.
If you need to check for yourself all a person has to do is head over to Twitch, view the Crowfall category and look at the framerates of the players streaming the game, you will be hard pressed to find anyone getting a stable 60fps (which is well below standard at this point, as most gamers these days are running 120hz or better displays).
Performance issues were a major problem throughout the entire history of Crowfall's development. We told the devs they needed to deal with it and they chose to take the band-aid route rather than dealing with the issue properly. As a result you'll never see decent performance in this game without a full rewrite of the engine.

Hard to guess really, it should be F2P already being honest. The three faction system was what interested me in the first place, I may take another look at it now...but I doubt it.
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.
In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
