Do you want an official MMORPG.com Guild?

Jospeh wanted me to throw this up to gauge interest in an official MMORPG.com guild for New World.

It's been mentioned a couple times by community members.  Making a guild in New World is a massive undertaking. We can't just make one and have a handful of members, it requires teamwork to contribute, take, and defend settlements.

If this is something you are interested in, please vote and post below what type of player you are going to focus on.  PVP, PVE, PVX, Crafting, etc.

Also post ideas on servers. I have one in mind, doesn't have a large streamer population so shouldn't cause many big issues related to streamers and New World.  Also see discord, a thread was created there as well.

Currently we have staff playing on both East and West coasts.  First guild will likely be East coast, with a followup with West coast for those players.

    Most of us probably already joined guilds and the faction restriction for guilds kind of makes it tough for a bunch of people who almost never agree on anything to pick one :)

    Having said that, if you do start one as long as it's not on a server cluster I'm already on, I'll make an alt and play with you guys.

    PS: poll doesn't work for me, can't pick either choice. This always happens for me on Chrome with any poll here,

    Agree with Iselin....


    I'm kind of on the other side of the coin, I haven't joined one pre-launch, but I've more or less picked faction/server with some friends, and we'll wait to find a company once we reach the server. 


    And since it's a massive undertaking, sounds like that's an acknowledgement that it's something that should have been brought up, or considered more than a day or two before launch. At least so there could have been a consensus, or an announcement of faction choice. 

    I'd think most folks at this point have a preference in factions...

    Pahruli US East, will be making the MMORPG.com company there, hopefully we get people so we can hold a town :smile:  Syndicate faction.

    Interested in East Coast server.   Pve and Crafting here.

    If you would please post name of East Coast server on MMORPG main news page by 8 AM ET so I can join server.

    Well I'm EU so it would be just me and @Scot and I am not even sure if we like each other so.
    As you are an older gamer, thats just the sort of players I game with. But I won't be playing until next year and it is likely that it would be in an old guild. Though I think Picard is EU and I am sure there must be others as well. :)

    So far I like it, it would be one of those titles that I won't be playing many hours per week, but not gonna quit neither. So there's a good chance that I'll be still around when you got in. May I ask why you are waiting a year? Just curious.

    I think the switch from PvP to PvE/PvP and having to bolt on PvE questing has meant the game is not ready for launch yet. You can't make huge changes like that and have it sorted in a game this big in less than three years. I do not think it impossible that they will have a relaunch at the end of next year with new ideas and content to try to address those issues.

    These days I wait a few months anyway, last MMO I started when it launched was ESO and i should have waited a few months there.

    The couple of guilds I am thinking of will be settled in game by then and no one will want be to be an officer, so I will feel no guilt in having a concerns free ride in game. :)
