The Elyon team has updated with some good news following an initial delay to the pre-download option. Pre-download is now available and there's also a revised schedule for the lead up to launch, including early character creation and head start.

Pity they don't just put some PVE channels or something, pretty sure the game would be getting more attention.
it was a good move to wait for a month after NW, now ppl are looking around, tired to kill the same 5 mobs and chase the turkey.

On a Tuesday night, there are still servers listed as TOO FULL to create characters on, out of the all the servers on the EAST and WEST regions, only One is listed as Low for it's population. That's doesn't sound like most people feel it turned out crappy.
I do hope that Elyon works out but if they only have one server for each region, it doesn't sound like their internal polling is expecting a great launch. But to say that Bless has ever done well is an over exaggeration, it has been re-release so many times and their last release on steam still doesn't have great reviews.
In a Bizzaro world NW is doing terrible, and Bless did fantastic I guess? I swear sometimes I think there we merged with an alternate universe somewhere along the way.
Because Elyon is much more fun to me than BDO? Also I highly doubt NW lost 1/3 of its players or do you have a source for this? About mmos that have grown after start, I know ESO and WoW both did this and probably lots of others as well.
New World definitely lost players. This is just normal and not unexpected.
It's not a fantastic game either. It's ok, but thats about it. There are a lot of flaws, rookie dev mistakes and issues with the game.
My two servers were HIGH and FULL til last week, with 700+ queues each day.
Now since this week they down to MEDIUM in prime time with zero queues.
And no, these were one of the last new servers they opened up here in EU two weeks ago.
superior in any way? Not at all.. BDO is a non stop gambling grind game with some pve elements and some good life skills. Elyon is a pvp centric game with much less grind and so much more group content.
Yeah BDO's combat is unique but just no fun in PVP at all.
I hope Elyon is doing well, for me it's the best MMO launching in 2021 by far.
servers listed as "TOO FULL" is not any kind of actual quantitative (or qualitative) description of anything at-all, where's any real numbers? Real UN-biased review and UN-biased statistics.
