Another studio housing former Blizzard veterans has popped up, this time in the form of Notorious Studios. The development studio is made up of former World of Warcraft, Overwatch and Diablo developers, focusing on the "team first."

What "they" never seem to realize is that there IS no group without the individual. Instead of forcing cooperation and group play or interactivity they should be encouraging it and leaving the choices up to the individual players as much as is possible. Let us be who we will be. The only time there should be interference is when there is possible physical harm to others. The interference of corporations, devs, and activists has reached the breaking/boiling point for me and I refuse to be a part of any IP that takes my rights and freedom and tramples on it in the name of "niceness" and virtue signaling. I'm so glad I saw this article and that quote or I might have been misled. At least for a while.
I will take my ball and go play elsewhere.
is a meaningless statement.
YEah I wasnt sure if that was a positive or not in light of events over the past couple of years......
So everybody is a Boss...and no one is a worker bee...that should work right?
Or could it be that they are just doing what every company/politician does, trying to promise everything and deliver nothing?
Would have more respect for them if they just came out and said they are here to make games for all the cash we can get.
Know what I care about?? Can you make a game I want to play that is fun. Pretty much it...
Kids these days!

Notorious: "famous or well known, typically for some bad quality or deed."
... Why on earth would ex devs of a company thats getting dragged through the mud recently concerning sexual, racial and gender problems name themselves "Notorious"?
Good luck with that.
It was the name of their in-game guild.
Just echoing what others have basically said here but being a "Blizzard Veteran" is no longer the badge of honor it once was... Regardless, a new studio and hopefully new ideas. I look forward to seeing what they put out.
Notorious Bigger?
Interestingly, Dark Souls came along, and people got into it. That shows people feels the need somewhere hidden deep in themselves for patience, for effort, for a tad more meaningful achievements, it's just tons of that crap has been dumped above it.
If they use their experience to produce more of the same design they learned at Blizzard, then bleh.
If they want to make something different that they were never allowed to do at Blizzard, then yay.
Experience is both a blessing and a curse.. Ability to deliver is more likely, being stuck in certain ways of thinking also more likely.

In fact I could do nothing other than run expeditions all day long if that's what I wanted to do.
I'm also not a fan of the requirement to have an orb to enter dungeons and have posted here many times about my dislike of the system both before and after the game's release. But at least only one of the 5 party members need that orb and in most of my runs whoever wanted a healer (that's me) to join them already had an orb.
Sounds like you're not having a good experience getting into expeditions but for me it has very little to do with the guild I'm in since most of my dungeon runs are PUGs.

Nary a cash shop option in sight either...
Don't they understand their audience these days?
