You don't want to play that game, trust me. You think you do, but you don't.
Why should they, they are still one of the biggest on the MMO Market even the highly anticipated and hyped NEW WORLD Wood Farming Simulator did not have a chance and had less Players at its highest peak then WoW at his low right now.
If PPL Say "WoW need to go F2P its Dead" or something in that line what are other MMOs then ? And the Publishers of those games still think its worth Keeping them runing.
Even if its "only" 1 Million Subs its still more then enough Money for Blizzard to stick to a sub system and thats even without the Account Services , Ingame Shop Sellings etc. and no i dont accept the comments like "but you can buy tokens for ingame gold and you dont have to pay a cent to play WoW" The Tokens are bought by other Players so the 30 day sub via token is even more money for Blizzard then a normal sub.
What's the point, imo they can't go down that route. If they are going to make another mmo it needs to be a different ip they currently have or a new ip altogether.
Wow is still way to big to throw by the wayside, they could go the EQ route and add another world to the current lore. Soe added the Luclin moon with the 'shadows of luclin' expansion, that's the only way they could do it.
No. I definitely want a WOW 2. Different map. add on to current races. add on Classes...... etc.

ActiBlizz reputation is in ruins and Shadowlands didn't perform as expected. It feels like they'll just pump out a mediocre expansion to keep "The True Believers" going and start shipping devs off elsewhere within the company.
Is WoW dead? Hard to say, the mmorpg market is getting lots of new stuff coming into the West which does pull away from its playerbase. The "Great WoW Exodus" is a good example of that, when folk jumped ship en masse to FF14.
