    While I don't hate the subscription model overall; I don't think it will work in the long term for this game.

    Not having a 1 month sub is a bonehead idea imo.

    Having played the game, I don't really see a sub based model working for it. I wont be paying a sub to play it to me its more of a buy to play with incremental year passes or something game and ultimately that's exactly how will turn out when they aren't seeing the player numbers they want.

    Now...when they were in beta and at launch they tried a one month sub for a short while.

    I remember when they were spouting the try the game for $6.99 but they did NOT have any way to pay for 1 month.

    You had to buy multi months to even try the game. At least now that they are raising the sub price they are offering a 1 month option.
