Despite the original backlash over the "Do you guys not have phones?" comment from Blizzard developer Wyatt Cheng during BlizzCon 2018, I've been excitedly awaiting the release of Diablo Immortal. I understand that many fans were upset and expecting the announcement of Diablo 4, which came later during BlizzCon 2019. However, I always saw this as something extra and not taking away development from the core franchise because it's being co-developed with NetEase on a platform outside of Blizzard'

When I'm not at home or when I'm on breaks at work I can't play games on my PC so I play games on mobile quite often.

Besides, this game is taking away from my D4 development and already has my ire.
Why did they bother showing off the armor sets when everyone said it would look dogshit.
Always behind in technology copying others.
Genshin Impact had a pc client since day 1.

As a perosn who works at the desk, plays at the desk and does his hobbys also at the desk, even a comfortable chair isn't enough to sustain spending half a day (or more) sitting. I'd love to have some enjoyable AAA titles to hop in on mobile and enjoy on the couch to give my spine some rest, as a break from the work as well
What is really weird for me though is the touch controls compared to a controller. I play genshin impact on pc and mobile and strangely I like the touch controls more. I'm afraid it might be the same way with this one...

Those that want to play games when out and about that don't have a pack mule to bear the burden of their PC and a giant external battery to power it may be so inclined.
I'm sure they have the resources to work on both concurrently with neither impacting on the development of the other.
I expect NetEase isn't doing that out of kindness alone. Resources will be going their way that could have been spent on D4. It doesn't matter though, as Blizzard can support the development of both concurrently. Money put into Immortal need not come from that assigned to D4 development.
This is incorrect, there is an essence vendor in westmarch that lets you extract a legendary item's essence and apply it over the top of a more powerful legendary equipment transmog style
Yes but every single mobile game is trash compared to console or PC. However, we understand that as a corporate sell out, your only loyalty is to investors and you're not intelligent enough to develop games with cash shops that offer convenience/cosmetic only options. Like PoE. RIP Blizzard.
Games like "Monument Valley" are GEMS, and they wouldn't be any better if they were on a PC.
Respect, walk
