I think it is really a matter of taste, really. I mean I like redheads, but some prefer blonds. I have enjoyed most of the 10 or so MMO's I have played. I am basically a weekend casual player who plays 2 hour sessions, max. I mean, for a long time I was into WoW, but then I tried CoV, SWG, etc. I keep em all on my desktop, and when I wanna play one, I renew and play for a month. I usually have 1 fee plus GW. Heres an example:
Thank you, really i agree with your views. i just made this so people will quit bashing games for once. its all they seem to do. i was simply trying to make the point that differnt people like differnt things.
It's much easier to think of the things that you don't like about a game than it is to think of the things that you do like.
If you play your favorite game several hours one night, have the best time of your life and the game crashes preventing you from completing your objective then you're not going to come to a forum and dote on the game for providing several hours of blissful entertainment. You're going to be pissed off because you were having the time of your life just before the game up and kicked you square in your jewels.
How about your ex-wives/girlfriends/husbands/boyfriends? How often do you talk about the great times you had with them? Probably about as often as you dote on a game because all you can think about is how they screwed you over.
"Don't play FakerQuest, that laggy, grind fest caters to basement dwelling losers that singe in the sunlight."
"Don't date Tanya, that whore gave me crabs."
It's much harder to talk about the positive aspects of a game when you feel as if you've been screwed over.
"FakerQuest has a really great crafting system."
"Tanya bakes great cookies."
Sure, FakerQuest has a great crafting system... but what you want to do is warn people that FakerQuest is laggy and has an end-game that is hard for employed people to enjoy.
Sure, Tanya bakes a great cookie... but what you want to do is warn people that Tanya has a STD.
Just keep that in mind when you're reading something that comes off as game bashing. They probably aren't trying to bash the game more than convey a warning or message that says Buyer Beware.

8/04-12/04-CoH 12/04-5/05-WoW 5/05-7/05-SWG 7/05-9/05-CoH & DAoC
10/05-2/06- CoV/CoH 2/06-3/06-WoW & DDO beta 3/06-4/06-DDO & CoV 4/06-present- AA & EQ2
For me, the most fun I have had in any game is AA. It just rocks. It may be because it's different, but I really enjoy it.
Sorry to ramble.
what next!?@#?!?@#*&$
