    Sell your ships on the grey market, make a profit.

    In that sense, yes. The company can ban your account and remove access at will, that much is in their rights. Also, at that same point -- if the consumer asks -- they have to refund the customer, because they no longer have access to the things they paid for. That is their responsibility And it's not like it has to be even a total ban. Sony tried this, and got told to go pound sand. When they removed "Alternate OS" support from the Playstation 3 (you could originally run Linux on it), they had to issue refunds for everyone who wanted, because they item was no longer usable in the same way it was when purchased. Note that this was long after they started selling it, it wasn't for just new consoles, they had to refund consoles bought years ago.

    So you can see that both Microsoft and Sony have tried -- and failed -- to contest it. I highly doubt CIG could do differently even if they tried (which I highly doubt they even would do. They're not that foolish.)

    From what I read in this thread, a cheque is already on its way to you. Again, repeating what I’ve seen in this thread. 

    Given it’s taken a year for them to respond to date, I’d give it a year for it to arrive. I’d suggest not posting until January 2023 to make sure you don’t damage your chances of it arriving.

    890 Jump ship is not only an awesome exploration ship but also a great transport ship!

    For context, the video above shows a skilled pilot flying a 890 Jump upside down with the hangar bay opened (which has it's own gravity inside) and players are throwing drug packages into it with their tractor beam tool.
    Pretty neat. :)

    You're quoting other people's opinions. You've not stated anything from CIG that they've changed it's role. Infact, it's clear from the ship stats page that it hasn't changed. Touring - a subset of Exploration. It's been a VIP yacht from the beginning.
