Free test to prove they have actually improved since MO1?
If they are confident of this then they should have no problem doing it. They have a credibility gap but this would be a way to close some of that gap.

Also- They need to provide a full list of what is NOT included in the released game, what is coming later, and WHEN.

1 word descriptions like "FAUNA" is not going to cut it.

Maybe, but I think people would be crazy to PAY to find that out. As I said, these guys created a credibility gap with what they did with MO1. It's on them to fix it. If the game is ready and fixes the errors of MO1 (and complete) they should have no problem showing us for free. Especially for a box +sub game.

What do you think is wrong with EXPECTING a developer who's last product was a disaster, to offer a free trial of the game before expecting you to pay a box + sub price? Explain to me why you think that is unreasonable and an example of salt and tears.

I had really high hopes for MO2. I thought MO1 had potential that it never realized because of broken coding and poor dev decision-making. Sadly, this game looks to be exactly like MO1 but with better graphics. I will play at release and give it a chance, but I have serious concerns for it's long-term viability.

I've beta tested this game.......FOR FREE, Multiple times. Go to their website & sign up for testing.....It's FREE. But don't let FREE ruin you're narrative.

Tried that open beta or stress test weekend, whatever it was last year and it was really bad, beside those hardcore fans not sure who else in their right mind will play it. This game is years away from actual release ready state, if ever...

So yep, this MMO is going to be more of the same, and its population is going to be extremely small, which is what everyone would expect when you build for an extremely niche group of people. Not expecting any surprises out of this game.

I think it would be really cool if a fan or someone on the team making the game put out a proper press release or interview or something.

I saw a streamer called ESO play this game a while back and it looked really promising, but it did seem to be missing core/key gameplay mechanics regarding pvp and territory control.

The type of information presented on the game's website is one thing, but that's a lot different from proper advertisement and discussion about the game to build up hype and knowledge about it before launch.

The demo starting at the 50 second mark was configured to run in 4K and each object is a 16k x 16k BC7 texture. Ordinarily, this would take up 350MB of GPU memory for each individual object. The demo features 985 such objects, which would take up nearly 300 GB (yes, that's GB, not MB) of GPU memory. However, as can be seen in the video, allocated VRAM usage is just over 3 GB, and dedicated VRAM usage is just over 2 GB! SFS allows for visuals that simply would not otherwise be possible due to memory constraints.

OK. Lets be simple and see if you respond to this:

1. When was the last FREE test that they had? Was it 4 months ago?

2. You are claiming that I can go to the website and sign up for testing right now. SURE, but what you are not saying is that they have not had a free test in those 4 months? Or if they have, I missed it... so maybe I did but if so point to it please.

3. You are being utterly disingenuous by saying what you said and attempting to portray this as a free and open test that anyone can jump into. NO. They had a few Stress Tests. maybe 2? In the last YEAR. Performance in those tests was horrible (it was a Stress test.. that's not unexpected).

4. When you click the JOIN BETA TEST button on the site it brings you HERE Which is the store and tells you to buy an account (make a donation) for access.

5. The company has a credibility gap since their Mortal Online game launch was one of the worst in the entire history of MMORPG launches. How can they close that gap? Simple... let people se for themselves. If they really have fixed all the issues then they should be EAGE for everyone to see it. They certainly do not have to do this, but that gap will remain.

6. I asked Heinrich at least 4-5 times on a recent stream if he would have a free test before launch and he never answered. There has been no word of it.

7. The only narrative here (and a blatantly false one) is the one YOU created by trying to make people believe they could just go and sign up and test the game freely. That's disingenuous.

Even after you tried the game, it still sucks... specially the combat.
