Lag Issues

in WWII Online: Battleground Europe

I experince lag almost every time I try it and here are my Specs there kinda low end though

Pentium 4 2.66ghz

512mb Ram

Windows Xp

ATI 9250 Radeon (Dx

    You NEED more RAM - WWIIOL client alone needs at least 650 mb of ram to run decently.

    Get yourself 2 gigs of pc3200 - it will definatly help a lot

    I got a 3.2Ghz with 1gb ram and got no lag issues.

    1GB ram should be sufficient. But turn off any program in the background that you don't need for this game. Teamspeak is good to use for instance.

    That lag is usually texture loading thrashing the HD. You can reduce this by right clicking ww2.exe in windows explorer selecting Compatibility then NT. You need more ram since the footprint is aroudn 750meg and any less memory will hit the HD more often.  Windows takes 120+ megs just to load and with anything at all running in the background 512 megs leaves very little to manage the sim.
