I wish they would hurry up with the promised visual upgrades to the game. I hope they also optimize the engine so it doesn't stutter all the time when it loads stuff. Seems to me these changes are far from ideal, but it's mostly the min-maxer drama queens who are most hurt from this.

I think it's good they're at least, acting, considering the players' feedback. That's becoming too rare nowadays so kudos to them for listening/reading.

I feel SSG may have accidently communicated things backwards. Start with what is going to be added, such as additional ways to earn currency. Then advise what the tradeoff would be (no disenchant) followed by asking the community for feedback on if it's a good or bad change. Farming for currency seems more of a "hardcore" friendly player activity while doing weekly quest, missions, and other trade in; more of a "casual " friendly player activity.

Very interested in upcoming LI reward track.

Not sure what is causing the occasional random "lag." It's not always been there for me. I have LOTRO on a m.2 ssd, so client loading is not an issue. Not loading a bunch of addons at start up seems to help some stuff, but I still get occasional skill lag. Apparently there are a couple of things in the SSG pipeline to take a whack at this. Here's hoping.

"We re-did Legendaries so you don't have to grind"
"We re-did currencies so you can grind more"

And Joseph Goebbels price for best propaganda goes to ... ... ... SSG!
They put "on hold" which may mean - on hold for 59 minutes. Or 23 hours.
Anyway, they would steal all Embers you have and give any amount of worthless motes instead.
Anyway, they would make end-game more and more pay-to-win.

It is not listening. It is not victory of players. It is just good propaganda move. Imitate retreat, so that enemy is fooled, then turn back and crush enemy, who became lulled - that's their tactic.

"yeah yeah we listened, we took on hold, yeah yeah things are ok" - sings Goebbelses at SSG.
Nope. Things would be ok, when all current stuff of SSG leaves to clean toilets in McDonalds and hand studio over to those, who play and care about game.

Untill then - road down to demise, to Lotro becoming pay-to-survive, lootbox dependent grind factory.

I'm surprised they did this as I'm quite sure they knew the impact it would have on players and they usually push this stuff through regardless.   Some people on the forums were asking that they put more cosmetics into the store to sell rather than continuing to monetize player power.
