Vaguard: Saga of Heroes Special Edition

Has anybody seen this or Pre-ordered this. I am wondering what does the 3 Game Keys mean.

Plus you get a Special ingame pet, Special Painting for your house, Hardback Book and 3 Concept Art paintings.

Oops my bad Vanguard: Saga of Heroes Limited Edition

WHAT are the 3 game Keys?

3 game keys could be that (and I believed they talked about it a little bit) they are family keys.

Meaning, if you are a family of say dad, mom, son, or 3 kids, whatever, you can buy the special edition (rumored at $100) instead of the box 3x at $40-50 each.

I believe they are basically 3 accounts to the game, which will save you $50 if you are in need of them.

i try to stay away from special editions unless im POSITIVE ill be playing the game long term ...

if you think youll definitely be playing the game long term go for it ...

but im so angry with myself for buying the special edition everquest 2 ( was the only one on the shelf at the time) played for maybe 2 months and quit the game ..( now its sold for $7.50 )

and buying the special edition of COV ( its a casual game im trying to see if i can make it long term but i dont know .. and again it was the only box i could find on the shelf)

and of course like the 15 or something boxes ive had to buy with SWG .. whether it be expansions .. buying another CD set cuz my original scratched .. or buying for my alternate characters ( god i hate how SOE bled the star wars fans .. )

again ... are special edition boxes really worth the small in-game stuff they give ya? maybe ... maybe not .. who knows ...

i guess if your in love with the game they are worth it

I have been burned before, after all i did bought SWG collector edition, EQ2 collector Edition. I dont really regret EQ2, but SWG, that sucked but ohh well, it's only money =P

I even bought the paid beta that was SOG/DnL, what a mistake THAT was, but i should be getting my money back very soon. As far as i am concerned there are only 2 games that interest me right now, Vanguard and Journey's Heroes.

JH not sure when it comes out and it isnt even in beta yet, so for me forking out 100$ or whatever it's gona turn out to be in Canadian$ is cool by me. I spent easily that at the restaurant in a week or so, so that's easy there. As to the nifty toys, i am a sucker for those, i buy cereals based on the toys i get inside.... =P

If they make the pre-order, special Collector's Edition attractive, I would think about purchasing it.

But for that high price, I really need to have something that makes my mouth water as an enticement to purchase.  Would have to be something really darn special.

Like a special pet, a special mount and a lotta cheesecake pictures of naked women ... yeah, that would do it.

I have to agree with Neurox.  Buy those special ED ones only if you think you will be playing long term.  Wasting xtra $$$ on these editions are pointless if the companies doesn't even use the xtra $$$ to improve the gameplay and all.
