character build advice, por favor.

are there any guides out there that give advice on how to plot my 700 point build? last time i played was right before the release of AoS.

well, if i spend $10 and get the new UO with a free advanced character; then i can get a tamer template:

85 Taming
85 Animal Lore
85 Veterinary
70 Magery
70 Meditation
80 Strength, 80 Intelligence, 55 Dexterity

that's 395 points there.

now, i'm planning on having a theme. not sure what it'll be. maybe a dark elven spider theme. maybe a swampy theme (some sort of swamp druid perhaps?). maybe even a hot or cold theme. at any rate, with my 5 control slots, i'm going to try to maximize advantages from the pack instincts, along with having a mount that doesn't die instantly.

so to the above, at the very least, i have to get taming to 100 (if not 110 or 120).

so let's just add 15 points, i'm now at 410 SP.

if i do musicianship, peacemaking and provocation, i can almost gm the three of them (combined with the above); but i have no wrestling nor spell resist. which doesn't matter, because without eval int, my spells aren't that great anyways, right? so with that build, i'm looking at fighting with pets and using mobs to help kill each other i guess.

i'd like to try ninja (which seems it'd go with a few theme ideas i have). so that's ninjitsu, hiding and stealth. can i get away with say 70-80 in each of those three? that'd leave me with 50-80 points left over. i guess i could put it into resisting spells?

bleh, i'm just rambling about lots of different things.

i might try two toons. but i like the idea of some sort of dark elf (with spider allies) and a swamp druid.

sooooooooo, if i start with an advanced tamer template.... where can i put points and be effective?
