Saw this floating in Jedi forums again
Apparently jedi is getting the nerf-bat again and all the little newblets are crying because they may have to grind more "Expertise" skills to get back to their current level of skill. Of course not one of them are saying how injust it must be for Pre-CU jedi to yet again be forced into one more grind after doing more work for their character then these spoiled brats ever could have done.
Yes, things are once again starting to boil in the SWG forums. Patch 29 should be fun to see go live.

I had Jedi. It was alpha class, and I could only lose against non-jedi if I wanted to. Period. Never felt the need to whine over the nerfs, since even bringing Jedi in balance, it still left them as alpha class.
But every single day posts about jedi whines pile up. No matter what you do and how you do it, one thing gets change, the Jedi are in uproar. To hell with them.
This isn't directed at you.
It's directed at the fact I can't stand the "jedi nerf" all over the official boards. So what if Jedi gets nerfed. Officer, smuggler, entertainers, crafters are done for. Spy has cloak, the only profession with some substance now is BH. Mando armor, bounties, dots, snares, power attacks, you name, they have it.
Want to be uber? Play medic. It's boring, but it's an alpha class.
If you're level 90, when the expertise system comes in you won't have to grind out the skill points needed to spend on your trees. As you level up you aquire them, so if you're 90 you will instantly have them all.

It sounds great, so great in fact, I pitty those who canceled - Some deluded SWG fanboi who pities me.
I don't like it when you say things. - A Vanguard fan who does too.

True but what is sad is they are nerfing the professions in order to use that content for the expertise trees. People were bitching to TH about this and TH stated they were going to be using new content. After he made this statment there were some posts quoting Helios stating they would be using the talent points to regain skills that are being taken out...
Kinda cheesy to me but whatever woirks for them...

Having access to a billion $ IP - Billions of dollars..
Having access to a massive fan base of said IP - Even more Billons...
Singly handedly alienating them due to stupidity - Priceless.
sorry... I think I made this link too high in the OP to be noticed by many... so here... this is why not to bother trying to cancel...

sure SOE get some more cash but there subscriber age average would tumble, i dont think the raw number of subs they have is a concern to them, what i do think will bother them is that hundreds/ thousands of people have created an account tried the game as it stands for a month then quit. Ii think that message is far more powerfull than simply walking away and not going back
