  Sounds better than it is, there is almost no incentive to hold/own a town. Towns are open to timed pvp and if you can lose everything.. incl what's in your house within the city walls.
  
  You are far better off building a house outside the city's with a bunch of friends near you and leech of said city. Atm there is no way to block non-town-members access to you're town special structures/craft benefits.
  Housing plots are pre-determent in any city region, meaning you end up with non-official city like area's anyway,

  I must admit that I am not a big fan of people coming and destroying my house and taking my possessions while I sleep and come to think of it not even when I am awake and in game so I doubt I will play this game. All my best to them.
