    All the crytits won an argument only a very small population had. Honestly after a while everyone just looks the same in Korean games anyways.

    I never zoom in enough to tell what anyone else's character looks like, hardly even care what my characters look like; and I know most of us feel the same.

    It is de rigueur for studios to spend time and money on areas that their player base may have no interest in. I am really not sure why a studio is expected to respond to "memes", but it pleases the gaming media which is obviously more important than keeping the players happy. ^^

    Does it really matter that much? I mean we are staring at pixels....It isnt like we are choosing our gender in RL....Even then, we are what we are born.

    you hate been a guy in real life? for me i don't mind playing female toons, i enjoy it as i admire the female form and enjoy the look of females . i wish all classes did have a mirror, forcing others to play a specific class as one gender is stupid.

    I actually like things like gender and race locked classes. Always have.

    Even though I really wanted to play a Bard here in Lost Ark and settled on a Paladin because I didn't feel like playing anime-girl. I think that's OK. Not every option has to fit every player.

    I downloaded the game and created one of my favorite classes -- the Bard. And all I got was a giggly young girl in a miniskirt.

    No. Just, no.

    I might try it again, if they make a male bard. I want to be the happy-go-lucky half-drunk *male* bard.

    amazon straight up lying about gender locked classes. they are holding back all classes with a 2 month wait per, so do not expect us to even have all the current classes until next year, the female berserker isn't even in the game yet, so don't expect any new gender variations until 2+ years from now

    the game has a lot of problems right now, with botting and hacking, and they said they would address this issue, no mention of it at all in the patch notes.

    From someone who has played male and female characters in many games, I mostly play female characters because in most cases they don't look like the lumbering mules that most male characters look like when running. I do think it's rather stupid having a female character running around swamps, climbing cliffs, collecting lumber, mining, etc., while wearing a mini dress and high heels. I also think some female characters look silly when they run all prissy - are they trying to keep their balance while sprinting in high heels? If anyone has ever seen a woman try to run, let alone sprint, in high heels, you would definitely understand. If you're one of those that are all wound up into immersion in games then something like this probably drives you crazy.

    I doubt you hold any moral high ground wherever you are from. Only real difference is some places don't allow you to talk about it as freely.

    I don't care what gender my characters are. If the class is cool, I'll play it. My wife however, is VERY reluctant to play male characters. They're not pretty enough.. lol. I know she'll be happy if they ever release female versions of some of the currently male classes.

    My beef with Lost Ark is the oversized weaponry, but that's pretty much a given, given the original inspiritions for the game.  I chose Soulfist based on that, but I would like there to be more clothing that looks like something someone might really wear, not some uncomfortable bling that only appears on models on a runway.  

    Yeah, martial artists in high heels, that makes perfect sense!

    The Absolute Fu.... Oh.. it's an Iso-game.. My bad, yah. I tend to agree with you, that it's not profitable to zoom in close into those games, as such individual costumes are not that big a deal.

    Meh, I don't support anything thats played the woke card. Yeah its free, but I tend to drop some chicken tendies on most all ftp games I play. They could revert back 100% to the original version and I still wouldnt play.

    Well I can imagine some of the carrying on about the outfits in Tera. At one point my female Castantic outfit looked like the final stage of striptease. Wasn't too much left to the imagination.

    And the horrid gender locking has been a major barrier to me actually playing this game. Don't tell me how to play your game.

    So no more gender locked classes and giving people the chance to dress their female toons in more than just two small sauce pan lids and a tiny strip of gauze. OMG! Its the end times! The Taliban are now running the game!!!!
