I think it's a fair assessment. The game is great for a VR title, but it does need a little more... something. It's still fun to play but like most MMOs, it's more fun with friends.

That said, I still think it's a "must own" VR title.

I can see where someone would give it a 6. I have said its pretty basic but a very eye-opening view of what can be done in this genre with VR. Still don't have their 3rd class yet, still don't having housing or guilds structured at all. I can say the game is somewhere between a 5-6 for most people. Once complete and everything is implemented, I can see this being an 8.5ish.

I agree with Ultimateduck, this is still a must own. You will for sure have a lot of fun and its only getting better.

Oh, and on the article, I can say playing pcvr(have the original vive) I don't have any of the technical issues you mentioned with the quest. Maybe that's something with the quest since it's a standalone thing? I do get motion sick sometimes if you're on a high pop server and have issues with lag OR I do too much gliding :-)

I pretty much agree with ultimateduck and lackingmmo. I'd still say this is a must have. I agree that it's still pretty lacking in endgame content and the grind is pretty rough. It really took me back to playing early WoW. I'm very interested to see where they go with this and really hope it continues to flourish. I also didn't have any of the technical issues you mentioned (I'm on the valve index) so I really do think that's just limited to the Quest. Didn't really get much motion sickness either after hours of playing at a time, which I found kinda odd since other games do give me that if they don't have a vignette applied.

Has the potential to really be something great if they keep at it. I think the score is justified based on the game's current state.

Playstation move? Playstation don't move... ;(
Got a PSVR set & PS5 but I don't have any move controllers, and there are none for sale in my country. And when I had purchased the VR headseat about a year ago, I had heard rumors of Zenith (VR mmo) and was looking forward to playing it. Oh well.

I believe the PSVR only has 3DOF, although the new one may have a full 6DOF. They do have controllers. How else are you supposed to play?
