FIrst it was Dec 2018 (kickstarter), but then said that was not final date because steven created kickstarter "just" to see is there any interest for game^^
After that they thought why post release date when we can post release date for multiple everything, so they made release schedule:
September 2018 apocalypse stress test etc - march 2019
q2 2019 - alpha 1
q3 2019 - alpha 2
In the end they probably started thinking why dont we start milking people and here we are, in q2 2022 we have 1% of game where you need to pay 500$ to play it, sorry i mean to test it because we need to pay to test it and they want free bug reports.

Ashes of Money
To be accurate I should have said no MMO gives ETA's these days they have all learned that lesson. Effectively they are opening the cash shop by stages without admitting it.
Star citizen level scam. Game is reacting to other games and copying random ideas without any coherence.
Maybe it will release, but the fact that it's subscription-only, means I will not play it. I'm OK with B2P and F2P, but subscription is too expensive on the long run and I think it's an outdated business model and those who choose it believe in their product so much, yet only WoW and FF14 can afford to get away with this, in other MMORPGs, subscription is completely optional.
Even if Ashes of Creation were to be B2P, I'm still not interested in it, my main MMORPG now is LOTRO, followed by a Vanilla WoW private server and if I get bored with those two, there is Project Gorgon and if that runs its course, I'll probably stop playing MMORPGs, since as of the past 6-7 years, the MMORPGs that release are all piece of crap in my opinion and I can't seem to find anything new that I remotely like, I always want to play outdated MMORPGs from before 2010, because they are more like what I want and I'm not sure Ashes of Creation is going to be remotely interesting to me.

They have no plans for a release. Just taking money. Star Citizen 2: In your dreams
I assume that's a wind up there is no ETA for any MMO in development out there.
