The problem I have is the lack of preparedness for battling the bots. It skews the economy up front causing many players to become frustrated at the reduced valuation of a rare find. This was a big issue in New World as they skewed the economy to the point of no return in a game that is dependent on the player economy. While this game isn’t as dependent, the RMT has caused massive imbalances and unintended banning of players with a trickle effect.
I’m sticking things out and taking it easy. I decided that staying at the top of the curve is too expensive.
Fuck this shitty game. I got banned after 16 minutes of trying this game and no explanation given. This Korean junk is good for wiping ass that’s about all.

Did you pre-order? If not and were playing for free would have been easy enough to roll a new account, the Botters do it all the time

their statement of botting is bullshit, the only thing theyve done since their initial bot ban is disabling vpn access
bots are still rampant and the economy is getting progressively worse just like before the last bot ban.
the korean servers solved this issue by manually banning bots while limiting new player access to servers temporarily, and repeating that process until server population is mostly human

These sorts of problems never seem to be sorted by anti-piracy software programs alone, you need to have people doing that checking and that costs money. They have the money so there is no excuse. The fact the same game can handle the bots in Korea but not here says a lot, this is down to AGS and whoever else is involved in the localised version.
The trailer for this game 7 years ago showed the summoner class... which we STILL don't have...
There are AT LEAST 200k bots.
The bot problem can be solved in 1 day EASILY. Here let me do it for you:
Require 2factor mobile auth for logging in, have the mobile number require re-validation every 30 days so you can't use a disposable sim.
Instantly ban all accounts if more than 3 is logged in at the same time from the same ip.
Ip ban russia, china and korea. They all have their own version.
But it's far too late for this now...the only reasonable option is for Lost Ark to go the same was as Diablo 3 did, and fully disable all forms of trading.
The botting is still pretty bad, I will admit. I was doing an awakening quest line that took me to the pirate area of the story and saw a good 20 berserkers stuck trying to climb stairs lol.
Easy anti cheat lol...same anti cheat in NewWorld?!...same failure . If you played it... you know that history was about to repeat itself in LostArk.
There should be standards of quality regarding not only a game product but also the quality of service that deals with cheats(bots, etc)
Until there wont be civil and penal laws that regulate the gaming environment, there will always be 99% investment in the product and 1% in the anti cheating solutions.
I would very much like to sue AGS for wasting my time reporting for over a month a botter, for witch they did absolutely nothing, thus impacting on the negative side my gaming experience. Also i would like to sue the owner of the bot.
Under what law???Cause there is none...yet.

Uhh, where are you getting your information?
Likely the reason there is less botting on Korean version is the requirements to use real Korean IDs, and their tie in to phone numbers and social media
"How do I play on KR servers? You need to get Korean Citizenship with Korean Social Security number and if you are male between 18-35 you serve in Korean Army for 18 months. After that you can register and create ID for KR Lost Ark and play legit."
"It's very very difficult as accounts are tied from a Korean phone #. Korean phone's are tied to socials so it's pretty difficult."

The only time we see any form of down-time, is during the 24h after an update. After that, it's basically a straight line. On Friday 13th, 9PM CEST, the amount of players were around 170-200k. At this moment of writing, it's 10AM CEST and the player count is close to 500k. 2-3AM CEST is where the amount of players is the lowest for a lot of games on Steam, but Lost Ark keeps steaming past those hours like nothing happened.
This is extremely bothersome and a huge neglect towards players that are not botting. I'm trying to ignore the fact, but if it keeps going, I don't know for how long it can be ignored.

This is how the online curve looks for a healthy game. In this case CSGO:

As you can see, there is a clear day cycle pattern that repeats steadily each day.
Now, lets take a look at Lost Ark's curve:
