Ok so what i am looking to discuss is not the game, or mechanics being employed, but simply put the Developers track record.
What are some Game Developers out there who Seem to be in held in higher esteem then the rest. I understand CCP has been cleaning up lately due to EVE. Any other Game Devs we should have an EYE on.
I dont have anyone in partcular I can rant about because I am an SOE orphan.
I constantly read posting on why would Dev's want to hear your idea about a game when they got their own. That is a sound argument but at the same time. In a Customer Service oriented industry which is what MMO making is more then anything. You eventually will have to start implemented structured formats of receiving feedback and suggestions.
A product that promotes the building of massive communities. Cannot grow in leaps and bound if the community you created is not eventually brought into the mold as part of the process. That is what happens when you create nations, companies, and MMO's. This becomes especially true when you are talking about a product that is not even a necessity or remotely near anything of such value which is a the case of MMO's. If MMO's were gone tomorrow everyone would just continue on with entertaining themselves with what ever they did before.
One of the Reasons I feel a company like Bioware has seen very good success in their games. Is in fact of their NWN mod community. Those guys create such content and develop new mechanics all the time that Bioware every other month finds something thats to great to be express in digital text.

mmmmmm .... PUDDING
Witty saying to amuse you goes here.
MMOs are an art, and part of what makes art good is feedback, because one perspective (the developer's), won't always let someone know if something is good or bad. They need a wider viewpoint. Or in some cases the many people poking at the cracks and weakpoints trying to break the game.
But I agree if your going to make an argument you need to be more specific about what exactly your concern is and address it.
