Just started playing and love it so far. Theres something for everybody. Hopefully for the pve only servers they can put out more content over time.
I found a pretty good server called "DaBomb". Pretty low on the pvp agression. Can only destroy a castly thats completely decayed (out of fuel) but you can still be raided. For 20$ you cant beat it. Dont feel like pvp, just create your own local pve server kill some shit and build a big ass base. Super casual if you go offline pve solo!.
This is what players user to raid you when u are offline. Devs are stupid. Also no you don't need to see Steam Ids either idiots.
Try playing on a DAD server....Raiding hours on those servers are between 6pm to 11pm. If you're only complaint is you get raided when you are offline then dont play online. Also wtf you talking about steam id? That is for server owners to add the admins to server configs via a steam id. So if you are not the admin of a server then you dont put your steam id any where.

I haven't bought in to the game yet but was thinking about it. Is the 'raiding' pvp server only? Or is PvE forced in to it too? Or is just a server option to click on/off regardless of server type?
And here I thought it was a new patch and not the one from the 9th..
Game needs controller support ASAP. It's not click-to-move like Diablo (WASD based), so it's unplayable for certain people with disabilities/injuries, and I fall into this category.
Really hope these devs turn out to be more proactive in improving their game, unlike the Valheim ones.

It's a server option. Admins can set whether you can PvP, destroy enemy buildings, access enemy chests, etc. You also have the option to restrict the damage to enemy buildings during certain hours. You can also set whether to allow soulbound items (certain items don't drop on death).
You can also set the various drop/xp rates and damage modifiers.
So you can tailor the experience quite heavily - I am playing on my own small server, with PvE, raiding disabled, and the ability to use map teleporters while carrying items (you can't teleport with resources by default).
