Mine was delivered this morning. I got the 256GB model. So far so good and I have 14 games installed. Just smaller ones under 20GB for now but I'll start putting some larger ones on once I get an high storage SD card. The "Great on Deck" games seem to work fairly well. I've been playing Disco Elysium, Darq and Abzu today but I have Hades, Jurassic World Evolution and Victor Vran installed, too, so I might give those a try tomorrow.

I really hope Steam Deck becomes a massive success.
I might get one in the future, but i cannot help but wonder how long will it take for Valve to release a version with 6/8 cores and an Oled screen. I will probably get a laptop for now as I need to replace my PC anyway, but i do hope this first iteration of SD is successful.
Nintendo really need to step up their game or they are soon gone. After the PS Plus changes lately, I have all the games I need and the PS5 has finally replaced the Switch as a console for me. The Steam Deck would potentially keep me occupied for life as a mobile console, just looking at my current steam library.
Would love to see a top of the line console form Switch that can actually run their games and also look better than Nintendo 64.

I don't agree with that as Nintendo is known to not care about hardware, but more about software and as long as they have exclusive titles (Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Smash etc) fans that love and support those titles are gonna keep buying the system required to play it on as most don't feel Nintendo will ever release their games outside of their own platform.
I'll stick to pc I hate consoles not my cup of tea I have more customization and control with a pc then I do a console
For me, it's about being able to take my PC games with me wherever I go. I won't have to buy a PC and a console version of a game I want if the Steam Deck takes off and more games work with it. I plan to retire in the next year or 2 (before I'm 50) and I'd like to be able to play my PC games without the PC if I get a cottage or whatever. I can just take the Steam Deck and hook it up to a monitor and use a m&k when I'm inside at night or I can take it outside during the day and chill.

People only care about the games when it comes to Nintendo, not the hardware. I have a Switch and it's great for what it is but it's a very weak piece of hardware but no one cares about that. The only thing that matters is that the Switch is the only way you can play the newest Zelda, Mario and other Nintendo classics that people love.

Pfft, I'm still trying to get a PS5 for retail, nevermind buying a Steam Deck
I just got mine a few weeks ago after a reddit post on the city subreddit where I live mentioned the local Best Buy had some in stock. I was looking for one since they came out in 2020 and just happened to luck into getting one.

I reserved the top model... I'm listed for Q3 so hopefully I get my email soon. Still not 100% sold on it but it can always be a gift or something.
