I'll give some points to them for never giving up.

    CCP flop #5 incoming.

Or is it 6? I lost count.
They are sort of game development's equivalent of music's one hit wonders.

This is like Bioware doing Anthem, except they had no choice; hopefully this is not another self inflicted wound for CCP.

Dust was a flop, first and foremost, because it was only available on ancient playstations.  Unlike the great body of Eve players who were on PCs.  Certain disconnect there, eh what?

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

The number of disconnects CCP had with their own player base and the gaming market are too numerous to mention.

World of Darkness, Walking in Stations, Monacle Gate, a couple of attempts at VR games, the list goes on and on.

Not to mention the countless attempts to "encourage" more PVP, often by finding ways to make PVEer more vulnerable to being "prey" which definitely resulted in me walking away and taking my 6 (paid in cash) annual subs home with me back in 2016.

Pearl Abyss (Black Dessert Online) owns them. So maybe a couple things are going on here.

Either PA is looking to cash out some work they (CCP) had going on before buying them.

Or they made this after the buyout.

Either way, it is a for sure wait till release, and see what they actually deliver as a playable game.

Not sure the way they have been taking EVE, trying out new monetization schemes, that any game would be something I would like. But will at least wait till I see something to say yes or no.

I cant really explain how they had so much success with Eve...They really caught lightning in a bottle, and I dont think they ever find anywhere near that success again.

you know when they raise the price of their game that people actually play then instead of dumping that money into said game they create some other game nobody asked for, i cant help but wonder what the F are they thinking?

I cant help but wonder how many more people would play EvE if they dumped all this money from these failed games into it and actually added some content for players to enjoy. because as of right now its mine/run some missions/ farm the same mobs over and over or fly around ganking people.

thats pretty basic when it comes to things to do in a MMO.

Sneak preview: the gameplay will involving centering your cursor on the enemy and clicking the mouse until it dies.

And what a fine genre FPS is, though these days we have autoloading mice with automatic firing. :)
