This week, RuneScape polishes some free-to-play areas with some new graphical updates. The coming patch will also have some changes to the Wilderness ruleset, and tweaks to the Daughter of Chaos quest.

    neat.

    RS has a lot of content that has aged quite poorly and is mandatory for certain things so a visual upgrade to make places look a bit more upto par is nice.

    The wilderness update was needed. Not optimal, but it was never rewarding enough to be the proper "high risk high reward" area it was meant to be.
    Now it's more of a moderate risk for the mediocre rewards it always provided, but the risk is more constant so going in with no gear to risk is less efficient.
