Indie developer Siege Camp has been working on Foxhole for five years now. With the Inferno 1.0 update, their sandbox MMO military sim has left boot camp (aka Early Access) and headed to the front lines as a full release on Steam. How does it stack up?

I have seen posts about that but not really sure if it's true or not. In the current war on the Able shard there are a total of 2.27 million casualties and the two sides are only separated by 38,000. That doesn't seem like much of a difference. Maybe that's just because of an influx of new players with it launching and all, but I would also suggest that if a majority of streamers play for one faction then maybe it's their followers that are skewing things and not the devs? That seems to be the way it goes in every MMO.
If you join a group of regular players, this is where the game can really shine. The improved communication, coordination, and competence can really turn this 'good' game into a 'great' game.
This is really a community driven game, and if you have the time to engage with the community, it can be very rewarding. If you just pop in and fight (or support) you can have fun, but you are aware that the game has a lot more to offer.
It is released. The 1.0 patch was their exit from early access. Although they plan to continue adding new stuff, all the core elements are set.
