I got the google newsletter today in my inbox and there's some thing called google trends.
What it does is track how many people do a certain search query. After I played withi t for a while putting random things in I tried "Dark and Light"
I think the results show perfectly the hype then the crash

You can see that it going high at annoucned release and the SoG after it its normalised like it was before.
( mybe even some higher than in 2004/2005 )

Yes, I know it is World of Warcraft. But it has an interesting trend.
Very nice find on google. I never knew they had a trending tool. And it is sad what has been going on with DnL.
