EvE, LotRO, Steam backlog. Currently enjoying my Evoker in WoW.
Happy Thanksgiving, ya filthy animals!
Lotro p2w. how can you enjoy it.
Turn it on, load up your character, and start killing things. Don't worry about what other players are doing or how they got so powerful, just have fun. It's really pretty easy to have fun in a f2p p2w game if you aren't trying to win.
Here's everything I cleared this year (personal favorites bolded):
1. Tales of Arise
2. Scarlet Nexus
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
4. Nexomon
5. Persona 5 Strikers
6. Berserk and the Band of the Hawk
7. Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons
8. Stray
9. Marvel's Avengers
10. Fire Emblem Three Houses (Blue Lions)
11. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
12. Fire Emblem Warriors (100%)
13. Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE
14. One Piece Pirate Warriors 4
15. Trails of Cold Steel 3
16. Trails of Cold Steel 4
17. Triangle Strategy (Morality route)
18. Xenoblade Chronicles DE
19. Xenoblade
20. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna, the Golden Country
21. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
22. Shin Megami Tensei V
I think that's comprehensive. It's been a particularly productive year for me. (Can I hit a nice round 25? Eh... probably not).
That is clearing more games than I've played in the last 6 years I think.
Seriously.
I had a week off for Thanksgiving which meant I got to do a lot of yard work and house cleaning getting ready to have the family over on Thursday.
I did put in a more than average amount of time gaming though, playing New World and finally hitting level 60 on the fresh start server I joined in early November.
Along with finally getting into Brimstone sands thanks to @Iselin 's help, I managed to grind out 3 out 4 gathering skills to the top level (150+).
Where you folks all find the time or even the desire to play more than one game at a time just escapes me.

I played mortal online 2 which I enjoy despite it's failings. Taking a break from that until territory control. Then I moved to conquers blade. Tried to get into FFXIV. I like so many of ita systems but it's hard to get into the game itself. Conquers blade is nice because when I wait for matches, I've also gotten into designing websites. So I can tinker withy website while waiting.
Been waiting for bloodbowl, and will be buying Warhammer.
The same WoW Classic (2004-2006) and Civ 5 (2010) as last year, and the year before that, and the year before that...
Either the modern games are terrible or i'm just getting old - or both.
I do daily sessions of EQ1 (4 servers in the rotation, mostly for the Overseer tasks and some attempts at Hunter achievements) and Civ 5. I pretty much hate Civ 6 -- too cartoony for my gaming tastes.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
I played a lot of ESO early in the year and now still having fun in New World.
Also sprinkled in a bit of Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077. Mass Effect, Diablo 3, Skyrim, Lost Ark, and my old faithful, Civ 5.

It is by far more games than I've cleared in other recent years, facilitated entirely by my general shift away from online games/service games and towards singleplayer ones. Maybe that puts me out of touch here, but I'm somewhat happier for it.
And well, this year I actually did seek out to clear my backlog, which I'll be continuining into next year. I've got like 30 games in my backlog at a rough estimate, and I'm sure my PS+ Extra subscription could add more at any time.
The new class in wow had me hooked. Unfortunetly 20 minutes after making him I was max level and I aint wasting exp.
Otherwise, despite its .... badness, Neverwinter is the only other mmo I'm playing. Once the WoW exp is out I'll be seriously hooked for 3-10 days then I'll be sitting here bored again/
FFXIV has me always wanting to come back, but no real solo xp/rewards. Full dungeon reqs, I'll avoid it above nearly everything else.
I have almost 100 hours in Stranger in Sword City and I have certain achievements that only 3.7 of the people that played the game have so this game is a bit of an addiction. Cannot explain it. I think the game isn't all that popular even.

Then Nyctermoon WoW.
I find it appalling how many people actually play games to their full, the number of times I have looked at the "game finished" achievement on steam and found I am in the 5% (or less!) club. I am talking games that scored 80+ on Metacritic, players seem to have the attention span of a goldfish these days.
I found poppy playtime the best game in 2022.Poppy Playtime is a fantastic first-person horror game where you have to find mysterious things in a dark room. You have to play tactfully and resolve all mysteries of the darkroom by fighting against vengeful toys and staying alive till the end. The truth is revealed about how toys disappeared from the abandoned toy factory.

How do you win in LotRO?
its a PvE game for one, plus its about the story and the journey
I dont get the "i must win" mentality in a PvE game I guess
