    Skipping this expansion for now until it matures then I’ll check it out during the last two months of the final season.

    Yep, the launch is rather messy and is messing with access to the other expansions, lol. Wonder if they tested it with a live server.

    Even before the /expansion I had tons of issues. Not acounting initial isuess more than a week ago, addons erroniously activate, even when deactivated. Loot will not auto loot/ unless... "LOOTED".. Now that I've started the new xpac, I initially was greeted by a multi hour "cant login cause world server was down. 7 HOURS after this I could accept the initial quest and stand for 5 minutes waiting for a boat.
    Even aside from the 7 hour shitstorm prior, why in the f would a developer add a freakin 5 minute timer to the START of a new xpac. Initially, not a big deal, but just lookin on, a massive idiotic move, reminding me of Amazon... Nowadays...... Do they even play? Doubtful. Talent trees, the biggest thing I wanted. So bloated, my casual friends and family REQUIRE me to log in to their account to set them up to even do normal damage to on level enemies. Not counting my own I'll level all my alts. Couldn't do it, 3/4 of the classes FEEL bad now. If I didn't play them from start and get the feel their garbabe now. UI, it's better, but 3/4 of required or essential info is tiny/blending in/hard to see. The entire ui is GOOD, but all its info that MATTTERS, is a clusterstorm/ Seriously, put in 30 or so curse words randomly. I hated the last xpac but for sh/tsakes. wth is going on.

    lol, I thought it had been out for a while. Does a WOW expansion still generate a lot of buzz in the MMO sphere? I feel that every expansion is less and less important to set a footprint on the genre.

    Seriously, there are few mmos in this genre (worthy).  FFXIV, ESO,..... I'm drunk and I'm missing a few, but even if WoW was down and out, an exp is a serious event in this area.  Course, I'd have to say I agree, I've been playing a few days without a SPECIFIC release in mind, and considering past events and mmos, this has been the ... seriously?/// lowest ... release  hype I've seen....  (I watched for it's release date and still I was like wuhh....).

    Really only had 2 issues.

    Authentication servers being down for 90 minutes and my HUD edits being deleted.

    After those got sorted played for hours and hours with no problems.

    The actual content has been very good so far. Story, questing, dungeons and Dragon riding are very good.

    But, none of that matters here on MMORPG, just the 90 minutes people couldn't play.

    I'm 67, got no issues whatsoever beside lag from time to time and 2 dc at the beginning. After that I got nothing. I'm really enjoying the new expansion. And dragon riding is super fun, the zone are really nice, the new crafting system is really good so far.

    I hope it's gonna stay good until the end of it.

    Had to wait for the boat for about 20 minutes, otherwise no issues. Was surprised actually, didn't expect to play until today.

    By the time I got off work which was the exact time DF went live and by the time my wife and I signed on all we would see is "World Server is down" for like 40 minutes.. Which two of our friends were already in the new zone playing and then we spent another 90 minutes waiting for the Zeppelin to arrive which seemed like forever.. So after experiencing all of that I finally reached the first quest NPC I just said F it and went to sleep lol.

    It was to be expected.

    It seems like they integrated some Korean mmo ideas in this one. I have a macro that binds to an interact key after I became addicted to 'f f f f f' in Archeage years ago. I don't even remember how I did it anymore. The hold key to spam will be great and another feature you see in Korean mmos.

    Didnt want to play - Kinda want to at least try the free <20 stuff to see the new UI.
