Fortnite made waves in the last week after an update to Unreal Engine 5.1 added Nanite and Lumen support to the battle royale. The improvements vastly increase graphical fidelity, to the point where Epic's battle royale looks like a totally different game.

    I hate battle royales but I has to said the graphics of fortnite make it looks clean

    I also don't like BR games, they seem stupid and pointless to me. The graphics have improved, but I'm not sure how well they will fit, because Fortnite is a cartoony game and this feels like it' s deviating from it.

    I think both suck, because they are both Battle Royale and that is a stupid game mode.

    Fortnite is basically the WoW of BRs......The cartoony graphics, the stupid dances, and marketing to the masses.

    they have different game modes. Especially fortnite, they added team deathmatch, and a bunch of other modes. Both player made and official Epic Games modes. Apex at the moment gets other modes temporarily which i dislike. I wish they add them permanenty. FOrtnites modes are permanent.

    Installed it because of the engine update and because I heard that there's finally a permanent mode where you don't have to build. Wasn't expecting anything and was very surprised how much fun I had. Gotta admit though that it feels kinda weird playing this with my almost 40 years :D

    That's not even the half of it. You can now make games in Fortnite like what Roblox does. This is crazy.
