    I expect a freeze on the economy while a dup bug is figured out. Then they accidentally delete the wrong things and have to do a rollback.

    What did tickle me is this is being done under the remit of the "Social Team"...'Arrrgh murder death kill'!

    But though I can understand why players are looking for other changes and content, its just leader-boards not Armageddon, enjoy your popcorn. :)

    I haven't played the game since the free beta tests, but I loosely follow news about it and it seems like the developers have no idea what they are doing or what their priorities are with the game. And the people that play the game seem to be suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

    ah yes nothing brings out " fair " and " fun " competition like a leader board. Where players can look with pride at how good their exploits and hacks have vaulted them to the top of the charts with " skilled " game play over all those scrubs....i mean lesser skilled players who where stupid enough to not exploit or cheat.

    cant wait.

    Always funny how some of you snowflakes are offended by things like DPS meters or leaderboards.

    So weird.

    It's a game, there's allowed to be competition.

    Or more likely we don't give a shit, we don't call that content, and we are also aware that it increases griefing and toxicity due to our longer MMORPG experience ?

    There's never been a metric measurement created that hasn't been eventually "weaponized" or abused in some fashion.

    Like you said, definitely not content I'm looking for in New World, would rather the resources be devoted to creating some decent looking armor skins that I might want to buy in the cash shop..
