It's finally happening. EVE Online and Microsoft collaborated on an Excel add-in. CCP is looking for beta testers, and are specifically looking for a variety of players.

    Wonder if someone will use the spreadsheet for evil, to specifically tally the amount of RL damages they cause by destroying people's stuff.

    Well, I always said Eve Online was like playing on an Excel spreadsheet with a cool screensaver going on in the background.

    Raised the subscription to 20$/month just to waste resources on crap like this. I don't get why anyone with any self respect still plays this game.

    Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain :smile: What's interesting though is that EVE doesn't really have an analogy and I don't know why this is. On paper it's not a very hard game to make , compared to modern games. Clearly there's target audience for it.

    Wake me up when they get rid of the forced PVP, and I might be interested to start playing again. Likely not though, so I might as well go back to my slumber.

    Test the excel feature in our game. Now there is something you can cross of your "Have to hear it once in a life time" bucket list.
