New World is doing some housekeeping, with a patch to fix a major issue with the Mutated Expeditions leaderboards and a separate downtime tomorrow for this and another issue.

    cheaters and exploiters effects the entirety of the game world. Why would any one want to play a in a game world where cheaters and exploiters are rewarded ?

    Says the guy who got suspended for creating and deleting too many characters in a short period of time because he wanted to play his own permadeath mode and couldn't figure out how to keep his characters alive while doing trivial solo stuff lol.

    Well if cheaters are not found and expelled they are "rewarded". Do players or companies get rewards for being in the top positions, otherwise I cannot see how this could reward cheating.

    On Game Release, Lack of Story was Frustrating for an otherwise interesting MMO. Although a year later its still coming up in the news with unintended game issues for players with each patch rather still rather regularly, same as before.

    It isn't cheating... overestimating your skill with the game? Yes, but no, not cheating.

    I just thought it was funny you were talking about cheaters and exploiters being rewarded when you got caught by one of their simpler anti-gold spammer measures. I mean... almost every single MMO has some multiple-character creation exploit system in place.

    They actually ban players all the time for cheats and exploits, not "reward them", which you would know if you had ever managed to get over your multiple deaths before level 20 and quit in a huff.
