The Day Before developers Fntastic published a vlog today to discuss their development process since work began back in 2019. But will it begin to reassure the skeptics about the zombie MMO?

Game didn't look bad to me on previews or graphic concerns. Game play looked up to norms. Didn't see any missions which maybe a let down on it (not sure)?
thanks

So, my question here is.
What's stopping you from reading some comments? Either here or on youtube videos of them, or going to Google and search their company? Or watch some streamers going deep into research about this company and game.
The information is out there buddy. All within a slight scroll or search on your part.
I call shenanigans on that bit they always emphasize so much in their marketing videos like this latest one.

I would put the expectations of an indie studio as far the quality output and pace of development provided, because with the current engine tools developers can use any game can look impressive by default despite lacking everything else, it I think people did perceive some AAA production value and quality title when it's actually more of a indie production thing relying on common strategies to cheapen out/fasten production.
Here is one for everybody and I am not a fan of "chapters" myself. What about indie making sure everything is polished and up to scratch by just doing a game like this in chapters? That's usually done in story like games, but as we know there are no limits to how they will develop a game.
The first chapter gives you one evening’s play, the second a week and the third a month. Considering most players don't play a game for a month that's job done for today’s gamer. That way they sacrifice content for everything else and follow up with the content. Whether or not you agree it will be coming your way soon, as no stone goes unturned in finding a new way to put a game out there.
Oh I would like to see the number who wishlisted the game by time on Steam because I know or at least I hope that older gamers would not have jumped onto this as much as younger ones.
No, such videos do not prove there is a game.
Unreal Engine can be used to make games, but it can also be used to make videos, as well as videos that look like a game. Until the general public is able to have access, and play it, we can not be sure there is an actual game. This applies to The Day Before, and any other "game" people are getting hyped about after seeing a video.
For instance, some months back people were getting hyped about a video for Blight: Survival. Although it was indicated that was being worked on by two people, in their spare time, over the last two years, when they work as artists for games. Also they said they put out the video to get interest, so they could get funding, to build a team, so they can make the game. Now if what was shown was of game play, of a game, made by two people, in their spare time, over just two years, why the hell would they need a team to make the rest, the hard part has been done, all that would be left would be to build more content. Clearly that was just a video made to show the kind of game they want to make, not a video showing an actually playable game.
Long story short, these Days Before announcements and videos have been extensively used to promote other unrelated games and apps Fntasic has been creating along the way.

Basicly this,
Dev: Look at this "game play" amazing right?
People: Wow that is some great zombie survival game.
Dev: let's go to for a live stream.
People: LETS GO! and START!!!
Start time.. wait.. wait wait 9 hrs later.... cancel...
next live stream... wait.. wait wait.... wait.... 24 hrs ... cancel...
next live stream...
Dev: it's time to roll.... gave a different game.
People: WTF WTF WTF... where is the game?
next live stream....
Dev: its time to roll..... gave another shitty games.
People: WTF WTF WTF... where is the effing games?
In the end people just got fed up, because the game doesn't seem to exist, all they have is the amazing "tech demo". but they always build the hype around it. during live stream only to promote their other games. and they are mostly buggy.
