Not sure about this one. Playing Gollum doesn't appeal to me.

When they first announced it I was also very sceptical and not a fan of the thought of playing Gollum but now after I've seen new gameplay videos I'm actually intrigued. This looks like a unique take on the franchise and experiencing tho world through Gollums eyes might actually be more interesting than from the usual heroes perspective.

I love stealth games, I love LotR, if they do it well it is a must buy for me.

I will wait for the "The Lord of the Rings - Barliman Butterbur" game or "The Lord of the Rings - Farmer Maggot" game, this one looks boring.

Interesting take on the genre. I may check in closer to launch, but right now the idea of playing as Gollum isn't really appealing.

Other than the initial skepticism my thoughts on the game mirror yours.

And thats totally fine. I also completely get why most people don't find it appealing but so the more I hope that those devs will be successful with this game, because in my opinion something new and refreshing is always a good thing and should be rewarded, otherwise we'll end up with Call of Duty 28 and Summoners War 13 - Wallet Wars!

The one that got cancelled and was going to be cross-platform between mobile, desktop and console?

Does anyone other than me feel the facial configuration of Gollum as shown looks a little weird, especially the wider mouth and eyes and full hair cut? Guess I may be just spoiled with the movie version.
